Advantages
The GUOGAO Jig Concentrator is an effective gravity separation machine that operates based on the density difference of the ore materials. It is mainly used for processing placer gold, coltan, tungsten, tin, and other minerals. The greater the density difference, the better the jigging separation effect.

Types of jig concentrators include eccentric jigs (plunger jigs and diaphragm jigs), hydraulic jiggers, movable sieve jigs, air pulsating jigs, and trapezoid jigs. The diaphragm jig has high beneficiation efficiency and can process coarse particle ores with a particle size ranging from 0.5 mm to 16 mm while separating tungsten, tin, and similar minerals.

The trapezoidal jig has a large processing capacity and can handle particles ranging from 50 mm to 0.25 mm. It has been widely used in tungsten, tin, and iron ore dressing plants. Depending on the beneficiation medium used, mineral jigs are divided into hydraulic jigs and dry jigs; dry material feeding yields better results.

Features of the GUOGAO  sawtooth jig machine include its use of water as a medium for fine gold recovery with low water consumption requirements and continuous operation.

【Jig Concentrator Working Principle】 The mineral particles with different specific gravities are separated by layering them according to their specific gravity in a vertically moving medium flow (water or air) that can vary in speed. The ore particles with lower specific gravity are located in the upper layer, while the larger ore particles are found in the lower layer. They are then mechanically separated into products of different specific gravities and discharged accordingly.

【Mineral Bed】 Typically, a 10-15cm mineral bed is created using iron ore (50% grade). Before delivery, JXSC engineer will assist you in determining the thickness of the bed, size of iron pieces, screen mesh, stroke adjustment, and stroke frequency.

【Factors Affecting Mineral Jig Beneficiation】
(1) Stroke and stroke frequency: These factors determine the speed, acceleration, and looseness of the jig’s layers. Higher strokes with fewer times are more suitable for coarse materials, while lower strokes with higher frequencies work better for fine particle sizes.
(2) Water consumption: Increasing water volume leads to faster discharge of lighter products and greater capacity. However, it may result in incomplete stratification and mixing of light products with higher specific gravity.
(3) Thickness of material layer: Thicker layers require more time for loosening and separation.
Thicker beds improve heavy product quality but decrease light product quality. Conversely, thinner beds reduce heavy product quality but enhance light product quality.
(4) Size of jig screen mesh and shape as well as feeding amount and uniformity all play a role.
