Product Structure
Main components of a high-frequency gold melting furnace:
Induction Coil: The induction coil is a crucial component of the high-frequency induction melting furnace. It consists of a conductive material, usually copper, and its shape and size depend on the furnace’s design and application. By passing high-frequency current through the melting coil, it creates a high-frequency electromagnetic field that induces current in the metal, generating heat energy to melt it.
Container/Crucible: The container or crucible is where the metal sample or raw material is placed. Typically made of ceramic or graphite materials due to their excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. The melting coils surround the vessel or crucible, allowing for heating and melting of the metal through high-frequency induction.
High-Frequency Generator: A device that supplies high-frequency current by converting electrical energy from a low-frequency power supply. This current is then transmitted to the melting coil. The power and frequency of the generator can be adjusted according to smelting requirements.
Cooling System: High-frequency induction melting furnaces generate significant amounts of heat, necessitating a cooling system to maintain equipment temperature stability. Usually includes a water cooling system that circulates water to cool down both melt coils and other furnace components, preventing overheating.
Control System: Modern high frequency induction melting furnaces often come equipped with advanced control systems enabling precise control over the melting process. These systems regulate power and frequency output from the generator as well as monitor temperature and melting time within the furnace.
Cooling Water Circulation System: Used specifically for cooling down both the high frequency generator and melt coil to prevent overheating.
Power Supply & Control Panel: Provides an interface for operating and controlling the high frequency induction melting furnace. Operators can set required parameters for meltings on this panel while monitoring process status simultaneously.
Working Principle:
The power supply utilizes Siemens IGBT all-solid-state technology for frequency conversion modules. After outputting strong variable frequency current, the induction heating device generates a powerful magnetic field through the induction coil. This magnetic field induces a vortex current on the heated working surface, rapidly heating the workpiece.
