The Spiral Classifier is available in three models with spiral diameters up to 120″. These classifiers have straight side tanks or modified flared or full flared tanks, and offer 100%, 125%, and 150% spiral submergence.

The spiral classifier is a size-classifying equipment used in the mining industry. It classifies minerals based on the principle that solid particles have different specific gravity and precipitation speeds in liquids. It filters powder from the mill, feeds coarse material into the mill inlet using a spiral slice, and discharges fine material through an overflow pipe. The spiral classifier is also known as the classifier. There are four types of classification machines: high weir type single screw, double screw; sinking type single screw, double screw. The classifier consists of a transmission device, a spiral body, a trough body, a lifting mechanism, a lower bearing (Bush), and a discharge valve. The spiral classifier is widely used in mineral processing plants with ball mills for closed-circuit circuits to separate ore sand flow or for grading ore sand and fine mud in gravity concentrators during metal beneficiation processes such as desliming hopper operations.

The spiral classifier separates solid particles of different sizes and proportions in liquids based on their settling velocity. Fine mineral particles float and overflow, while coarse mineral particles sink to the bottom. The machine is equipped with a screw that transports the material for classification. It can grind materials into powder and filter them before feeding them into the mill. The fine material is discharged through an overflow pipe. The machine base is made of welded channel steel body with steel plates, providing durability. The screw shaft and lifting devices are made of pig iron for wear resistance.

There are several types of spiral classifiers: high weir single screw, high weir double screw, low weir single screw, low weir double screw, sinking single screw, sinking double screw, as well as XL spiral classifier.
